Ash, Rajni in Peru, Brazil – Exclusive Shooting Pictures
Everyone’s looking forward to Rajnikanth’s new film, Enthiran, with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Directed by ace filmmaker Shankar, the film promises to entertain.
We bring you exclusive pictures of the film, during its shooting at the historical Inca civilisational site of Machu Picchu in Peru. The film was also shot in Brazil.
The film — earlier titled Robot — was first offered to Shah Rukh Khan. After he opted out, Shankar’s favourite actor Rajnikanth stepped in.
But then the next question arose: Who would be Rajni’s heroine in the film?
Shriya Saran, Rajni’s Sivaji co-star, was considered for the role. But it eventually went to the gorgeous Ash. This is her first film with Rajni, and her second with Shankar, after Jeans.
Rajnikanth and Ash put on a flamboyant look in the film, replete with feathers, beads and sequence.
Makeup artist Ojas Rajani (left) made sure Ash looked radiant and beautiful in Enthiran.
The camera focuses on Ash getting her look right, even as Rajnikant goes for a stroll in the background.
Enthiran revolves around a robot that turns out to be a monster. It’s up to Rajnikant to destroy the monster and save everyone else.

Enthiran will be a hit only if Shankar works his “Heart out” like the way he dis in Indhiyan and Mudhalavan
Shankar will give Rajnia flop if he gets careless like the way he did in Sivaji. Though Sivaji in my opinion was lucky at the box office as a hard core fan of Rajni for the past 29 years

some people comment about rajini as mgr and kamal as sivaji ganesan, but it is entirely wrong. They are fools without thinking they are writing anything. It was only sivaji ganesan who inspired our thalaivar rajini and both of them got Padma Bhushan Award which mgr and kamal did not get. Also Nadigar Thilagam was not selected for Bharath title and also super star but mgr and kamal got especially kamal three times. I think that sivaji and rajini and t.s. balaiah have character observation well and feel the character and display it on the screen perfectly, even though sivaji ganesan in the initial stages was acting dramatically but later stages with young heroes like vijay and ajay and arjun he has acted realistically and especially with thalaivar he acted in Padikkathavan in which sivaji ganesan acting was realistic and only rajini overacted as per the public demand. In short rajini and sivaji – great, and mgr and kamal – worst
Super Star is always humble man, and he encourages the whole team when he is acting in a film. He always wants team work because in a film, not only rajini but others should support and screen play should be realistic, then only the actors can perform realistically to some extent at least. But in Kamalhasan’s case, his films are also not realistic because the films are made to suit kamal’s acting. In 16 Vayadhinile, Sigappu Rojakkal, Indian, he is always exagerrating the same thing sivaji ganesan was doing initially, but later stages realized that it was not correct and he rectified it. In 1990s he was acting with thalaivar super star, and always sivaji ganesan was realistic and rajini was artificial. But Kamalhasan will not come into this realistic acting for ever.
