There have been reports that director Shankar had included a few political dialogues in Enthiran.

When questioned about this, he said that it was true indeed. Shankar clarifies that he included the dialogues only after discussing it with the Superstar. According to the director, when he disclosed about the dialogues to Rajini, he merely smiled and did not object to it.

However, the Superstar made one request, which is not to target any particular politician or political party, he added. Shankar opines that Rajini must enter politics as he has a huge fan base that can be converted to a political force to bring in the necessary change in the society. He felt that this force and power should not go waste.

Enthiran is gearing up for release in a couple of months and post production work is progressing steadfastly. It has been well-publicized that Rajinikanth will play a scientist as well as a robot that he creates in Endhiran.

The latest we hear on Enthiran is that the scientist Rajini will portray all the mannerism and style that his fans associate him with. Therefore, all Rajini fans can be assured that their Superstar will not disappoint them by deviating from his style.

On the other hand, the robot Rajini will be completely different devoid of any usual Rajini style.

Enthiran is directed by Shankar and produced by Sun Pictures. The film has Aishwarya Rai sharing the screen space with Rajini for the first time.

Superstar Rajinikanth is the big daddy of punch dialogues as far as Tamil cinema is concerned. It would be no exaggeration if we say many young heroes are now traveling on the road laid by the top actor years ago.

And his forthcoming ‘Enthiran’ too has in store many punch dialogues. If reports are to be believed, some of them are loaded with political meanings, thereby conveying a message to the public and politicians.

‘Vazhkkai Koduppavan Vakkaalan, Vaaikkarisi Poduravan Vetpaalan’,

‘Arthasasthram Unga Vazhi, Dharmasasthram En Vazhi’,

‘Arasiyalil Endrumey Naan Nirayuthapani’, were some of the punches mouthed by the Superstar for ‘Enthiran’.

At the same time, it is also said none of the above dialogues would look odd and they would fit well to the script. “Director Shankar and his team are carefully carving ‘Enthiran’ so that the film would creation sensation, not controversy,” sources say.

Director Shankar has penned in his blog that all the talkie portions of Enthiran have been completed. On the audio and film release, he had said that one song is yet to be recorded after which it has to go for mastering and then it has to be shot. The audio launch can be finalized only after this work is completed, Shankar had said.

The computer graphics work of Enthiran is almost complete; however, a few complicated CG work needs to be done; it has been said in the blog.

Apart from this, the final editing, sound mixing and dubbing has to be completed.

Resul Pookutty

Yes, another Oscar Award Winner joins the Enthiran team with Double Oscar Award Winner A.R.Rahman.

Enthiran got bigger with Oscar winning sound engineer Resul Pookutty joining the team. The sound engineer is known to bring in several innovative sounds and that earned him the reputation of being the best. It is important to note that Pookutty used a bird’s chirping to bring out the warn announcement horn used by the British during the 17th century in Pazhassi Raja.

Resul is now scouting for some unique sounds for Enthiran. He is working on getting the best from different sources, we hear.

ENTHIRAN COULD BE A TRAGEDY

Sujatha’s novel En Iniya Iyanthira had a climax in which the Robot will be dismantled. Wondering what the climax of Enthiran, which is based on this book, would be? Well, some of our sources say that director Shankar has planned two climaxes.

One of the climaxes will have Aishwarya Rai, the film’s heroine, killed by the Robot. Another climax will have Rajini dismantle the Robot keeping in tune with the book that Sujatha had penned. However, none of the sources have confirmed about this double climax and it’s also possible that the director may have other plans.

Superstar Rajinikanth today met the Tamil Nadu chief minister M. Karunanidhi at his residence and expressed thanks for his presence at the engagement ceremony of his daughter yesterday. While coming out of CM’s residence Rajinikanth told, actors attend filmy functions only on their own will and not out of compulsions from anybody.

On ‘Enthiran’ the superstar said the film would be ready for release in July in all probability. The actor made it clear that shooting of Enthiran is over and the post production work is on. Being one of the huge budget films of the year and the amount of research and work that director Shankar has put in, this film has created a lot of expectations. But then, it happens with all Rajini films.

Enthiran in 3D

Yes. Director Shankar is planning a 3D version of the magnum opus ‘Enthiran’ to pre-empt any piracy attempt.

After the unpleasant episode in ‘Jaggubhai’, where the full length film was leaked on the internet even before it came out of the processing lab, Shankar is trying each and every way to plug the holes. Today all major films are happening under strict vigilance by competent persons. Mani Ratnam has appointed managers at each point where the works for ‘Raavan’ is happening.

So in a no holds barred attempt to make the audience watch ‘Enthiran’ only at theaters, Shankar is even contemplating to convert a part of ‘Enthiran’ film into a 3D version. He has already started consultations to this effect with the experts on the economics of converting the film into a 3D film.

The demo version of ‘Enthiran’ in 3D was shown to Shankar by an effects company and he is awfully impressed with the result. So the chances to see ‘Enthiran’ wearing the 3D spectacles are great.

Rajinikanth-starrer ‘Enthiran’, is going to be a visually wowee and technically super rich film. Get ready for an ultra-technical film that will be simply spellbinding. Yes, what do you say about a film, which some renowned technicians of the world-famous Stan Winston Studios have called as a movie that has made maximum use of the animatronics technique?

Director Shankar, in his blog, recently stated that the film makes use of the aforementioned technique and that its use is effective in Enthiran. “Enthiran is the first Indian movie to use Stan Winston Studio’s Animatronics technology. We all are proud and happy to be associated with the number one Hollywood studio who did a great job in movies like Jurassic Park, Predator, Terminator, Ironman and the recent Avatar,” Shankar wrote in his blog.

Around 22 scenes of the movie have been shot using the technique. It reportedly took 30 months of planning and conceptualisation for a group of technicians, who came to Chennai’s Sun Stuios to work for a period of 4 months to execute it. Gasp!

SHANKAR WORKING HARD TO MATCH AR RAHMAN’S WORK

Shankar and expensive sets have always been synonymous. We have seen it before in Anniyan and Sivaji. So, will Endhiran be left out? No!

Enthiran team is planning to create an extravagant set to shoot a song. What is so special about this song is that director Shankar and art director Thotta Tharani have made extra efforts. The Shankar – Thotta Tharani combo has worked exceptionally well and Thotta Tharani is also behind the the fascinating, dream-like set created for the song ‘va ji va ji’ for Sivaji.

Rumor also has it that AR Rahman has plans to rope in about eight top Bollywood singers to croon for his music. So the set will be a complement to the song, we hear.

Rajini’s train fight

Rajinikanth has done a daring stunt sequence in Enthiran, which was choreographed by stunt director Peter Heins.

This fight scene has been shot in Lonavala near Mumbai. Rajini took part in the powerful fight scene that was shot on a train.

The exotic location in which the train fight was shot will add attraction to the film.

Enthiran’s lead lady, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was also present during the shoots.

The film, it must be mentioned here, is directed by Shankar and produced by Sun Pictures.

Although most of Enthiran’s lyrics are penned by the Shankar regular Vairamuthu, one song is being entrusted with the poet’s son. Now it looks like lyricist Na. Muthukumar will also be on the list as a last minute addition. If sources are to be believed, Muthukumar will write lyrical verses for Enthiran. These short verses will be used in the movie reportedly for the Robot character, also played by Rajini.

Enthiran’s post production works are already underway and it is also learnt that Rajini is up and about with the dubbing works. Although no release date has been announced yet officially, it’s widely believed that the mammoth venture will hit the screens later this year.

The team was spotted near Rajalakshmi College in Maduravayal in Chennai shooting an important fight sequence. The fight has been choreographed by the famous stunt director Peter Hein. Art director Sabu Cyril has taken care of the sets for the film.

Two imported Benz cars were brought to the spot for this particular scene. While one was a real car driven by Rajinikanth in the film, the other was a dummy which was brought in to be blown up in a shoot out. This scene had been shooted to perfection by the film’s director Shankar on November 11th, 2009.

Once again Prabhu Deva is choreographing exclusive dancing movements for Superstar Rajinikanth in Enthiran.

For Endhiran, Oscar fame A R Rahman had already composed 5 songs and all the songs will be recorded at a Mumbai studio soon.

Three out of 5 songs have heavy dance movements and Prabhu Deva, Raju Sundaram and Raghava Lawrence are the choreographers who have been assigned 3 songs.

According to Rajini, only these Three choreographers can understood his body movements and capabilities better than anybody else.

Upon the request of Rajinikanth, Prabhu Deva has been assigned the introductory song for Rajini in Endhiran.

The latest we hear is that Prabhu is in Hyderabad Ramoji Rao studio doing a very difficult song for Shankar’s Endhiran.

The grapevine goes that Rajini is playing a dual role in the film as a scientist and a Robot. The buzz is that there is a song where two Rajinikanths will come together for a brief period.

According to the sources, Prabhu Deva had designed two different dance movements for Rajinikanth in the same song. But the ace dance master and the superstar has pulled off the impossible, and it has turned out to be a stunning one!

Superstar Rajinikanth breaks another record and will feature in nothing less than 100 styles for a single song. The actor known for his idiosyncratic style will be seen dancing to a song for the mega budget movie Enthiran by director Shankar in a 100 different styles.

“Style Mannan” as he is fondly known has always charmed the audience with his inimitable style and charisma. This Special song was shot at Ramoji Film city in Hyderabad at an extravagant set Specially designed for the song alone.

Choreographed by Prabhu Deva, the song has already set up high expectations among the cast and crew of the movie as well as the anxiously awaiting audience. Aishwarya Bachchan also shakes legs with Rajini in this song. It took nearly 22 days to complete this unique song and dance sequence.
