1. Who is Isaac Asimov mentioned in the movie?
Isaac Asimov is the father of robotics who created three laws for the robotics. All the robots which are created should follow his rules. All the three laws have the basic concept that robot should not harm the human beings.

2. How come Chitti suddenly uses staking rollers in foot in railway tracks?
In the robotic conference scene, Vaseegaran said that Chitti, the robot has an inbuilt vehicle. So he uses the inbuilt vehicle on a track.

3. How it is possible to program all the words in a language to robot?
Yes, It is not possible to program all the words in a language to robot. In the scene when Chitti was driving Vaseegaran to the park he does not put the break, Auto driver comes and say “Savugraki”. Chitti suddenly utters “New word Savugraki”. So Chitti also does not know some words in the language.

4. Your answer to Q3 you are saying new word will not be used by Chitti, but when Aishwarya is saying I wasted the time and I don’t know what to do for tomorrow’s exam. Chitti using the word “Zigbee” showing with victory symbol?
Hi “Zigbee: is a word. Zigbee is the protocol for USB3.0 transmitter which is used for the high tech bit in the exam in the film.

5. How Chitti charges himself in the train scene and comes to save Aishwariya?
Because at that time he has no feelings.

Your question should be answered in two ways.

Robot is programmed in such a way that it should automatically charge during low battery time. It is explained in the train scene, as soon as he gets down with the low battery he falls down searching for a plug point….and that’s why he catches a rowdy’s xyz part and he falls…..as soon as he was thrown out of the train….he picks up the current box and charges himself…..even in boom boom song….Shankar has showed a scene that robot charges himself.

In the second way, if you watch the previous scene carefully while Ash caught on copying, and she will say CHITTI as mental. But Chitti will say at that time “Incomplete task”. So he will go to the roof and use vision technology for copying.

In the same method the task was incomplete for Chitti when he fell down from the train so he charged up himself with the battery to save Aishwarya Rai.

6. Titanium can withhold 1000 degrees but when its got heated its temperature will increase to 600 degrees so when Chitti is holding the girl and infant with his hand probably she will die? Explain this logic.
When Chitti is running to save the people from fire, coolant valves activated message will appear. Probably this will rapidly cool the titanium. These kind of messages are used so brilliantly throughout the film. For example, after the robot seminar, when bunch of girls ask for photo, when they take photo with Chitti, when the flash comes, Chitti display shows ‘vision blur’ and that method was used in climax fight also.

7. How does Chitti say the blood group of Dr.Vasi just in a sight while he sees the drop in the floor?
Chitti has inbuilt blood scanner and during checking the blood group, Chitti message will show as analyzing DNA.

8. Is talking to mosquito a silly scene?
Some people claim that talking with mosquito is a silly scene. But languages and tones will have different frequencies. So when he is speaking with mosquitoes the change in frequency message will appear. (This is also excellent thinking by writer Sujatha who will explain global recession in a single word to the common man. He just wants to explain to the common man what Robot can do.) Also the scene makes people and children aware of the water borne diseases spread by mosquitoes. Now you tell… Is that a silly scene?

9. Whether this is copy of any Hollywood film?
Oliver Stone, the winner of 3 Oscar awards for direction said to the reporters it is the best Indian film he had seen with such originality.

10. Is there anything special about Resool Pookutty’s sound editing?
Yes. In all the scenes Chitty is moving hands, walking and any movement machine sound will appear all the time. (like kirk Kirk).

Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in a still from Enthiran

If all goes well, director Shankar will wrap up the shooting of his Rajinikanth-Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer Endhiran by July.

Shankar recently shot a song for his film in a yet-to-open star hotel in Chennai. A source close to the film’s unit said, “Last week, Aishwarya flew down from Mumbai to shoot for a birthday party song. Shankar was looking for a lavish banquet hall where he could can the sequence.

But, he wasn’t pleased with any of the halls. He finally chose a star hotel that is yet to be commissioned and asked his art director Sabu Cyril to decorate the interiors lavishly. The song has come out extremely well.”

We hear that Shankar will wrap up the shoot of this much-awaited film after canning just one more song, which, in all probability, will be shot in a studio set in Chennai in July as soon as he gets dates from Ash.

Director Shankar, who has been making the magnum opus ‘Enthiran: The Robot’ starring superstar Rajnikanth and Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan in lead roles, is planning to fly along with his crew to the northern part of the country to continue the final phase of the shooting of the film. Sources say that Shankar and crew could remain in North India for a minimum of 3-4 months.

A few months back, Shankar canned some scenes of the film in Goa; he then moved to our own Chennai an filmed some more sequences. Shankar was also spotted at the Chennai’s suburban East Coast Road and at Prasad Studios where he had erected huge sets to shoot some of the sequences. Shankar would soon be leaving for Pune with the lead actors and the rest of the crew by the beginning of next week.

When we enquired with the Unit members as to when the shooting of the film was expected to be wrapped up, they say that a 90-day long shooting schedule has been planning in Pune and other cities. After that the post-production work, re-recording and the work relating to ‘promoting’ the movie would be started. All these things are bound to take time, says the Unit hand.

Shankar has hired a young boy who has a doctorate in robotics, this young boy is the 2nd son of Vairamuthu, Karkhi who like his father wrote the lyrics for songs but stasis an assistant shankar because as I’ve said previously he has a PhD in Australia. enthiran So the film is not imported how there are specialist as you can see

NOW the team of Shankar is a chennai finally some scene of the film, they are exactly Sirucheri SIPCOT industrial estate it has learned that shankar has bought a strange brand volvo bus he converted into satellite remote sensing lab, which has cost 50 lakhs, knowing that 60 lakhs approximately 1600 euro so do the math.

In the scene the gang antique robot in the bus, but that seems rajini is not present in the shooting, it’s some place else that will make this scene into a robot rajini .

With the combination of Sun Pictures, Rajnikanth and Shankar, expectation are rising high.  Now almost 85% of the film is over and shankar has started for the hunt of location for the next set of shooting.  We met him with few questions about Rajni, grandeur and technology.

This is the 1st film in Tamil which is coming as a science fiction movie.  A scientist is creating a different robot. And the result whether its good thing, chaos and consequences is the result of the story.  We are just quoting many films like it is similar to hollywood , i just want to create according to our culture, to be precise according to our place but this would be on par with holly wood quotes Shankar.

Is Rajinikanth a Robot?

If i say everything now, i guess that suspense will go off.  Whatsoever you people imagine you want ENTHIRAN film to be, it will be beyond your imagination, with much grandeur is the truth. Because this film has taken so much of work from us.  You can see the effort which is to be taken for ten films in this one film. Rajni is such an amazing hero.  Unlike other heroes who just come, just act in the shot and then get back to caravan.  But Rajni sir will spend each and every minute with us he has taken so much efforts for this film.  Just words can’t describe his efforts.  It could be realised by all of you , when the film is released.

You have tried to show Rajnikanth so young it seems?

SIVAJI film is what you witnessed was just a sample. In this film, he will be shown so young. For his make up things, we just went to America and searched in many places but nothing came right. Then we just tried out some sort of new things here in india, but it just worked out perfectly and it was suited perfectly for his character. Normally, Kamal will only take efforts for make up things is what general opinion.But in this film Rajni has taken efforts is something amazing.Yes, it takes 3-4 hours for him to get ready after his make up.Till that he would be so patient and act amazingly.This make up will change his entire character…..Wait and watch………

Aishwarya Rai?

She is acting as a medical research student. How the love starts between Rajnikanth and her,t hen how the story moves on , we dont want to discuss about these now.Lets talk about it later.

One of the general fact is that graphics is generally given importance to ur film….how aboutt this film?

Ya, its obvious in this.This is a story about robot so graphics is much needed in this. But you wont realise that its graphics when you watch this film. It would be so realistic. Before the fim started , we had started preparing everything before one and half years. That is like how people used to do in hollywood , what we are going to shoot and how we are going to shoot was decided on before hand. We have created enitre Enthiran film, in wat place if we keep graphics it would be good and many things we had almost made a big research. Then think about our efforts.Whats the regular practise is that people generally finish the film and come towards graphics department. But when shooting is on going, we had a graphics team by our side. One of the team will always stay with us. So that considerable amount of time will be saved.

What have you done technically?

Technically, we have handled a special thing called as ANIMATRONICS. In Jurrasic Park dinosaur’s movements are like walking, running. In King Kong, monkeys movements are the technical things which are done using it.This is new to tamil cinema. But don’t enquire whether this is going to be similar movie to that of hollywood. Since we have decided that we should not make anything similar to that of nature and we have tried something which is really new.When people see our Enthiran and i don’t want them to say that this is “SIMILAR TO THIS MOVE, SIMILAR TO THAT MOVIE” sort of thing. We are so clear in that stance. So everything will be new in this movie.

What about Songs?

Compared to SIVAJI film, all the locations will be different and the sets will make everyone dumbstruck and amazed. 3 SONGS have been completed shooting. “PUDHIYA MANIDHA BOOMIKU VAA DA ” is the lyrics of the title song which is penned down by vairamuthu. Generally i dont compromise for any of my film and this is no exception to my list. Since the story is about robot , some suggestions had been got from vairamuthu’s son who is specialised in robotics. He has also penned down one song.

Generally after doing big budget film, you will do films like Kadhalan, Boys, etc. What happened now?

Ya.I have changed my tend after SIVAJI film. This story is entirely different to me. The script has changed. We decided the budget. Whatever it had demanded , we have really justified it in the film. I havent decided anything regarding my next film.

Last puch line made by shankar was :

“TILL THIS SECOND ENTHIRAN FILM HAS ATTRACTED AND CHANGED ME LIKE A ROBOT”

எந்திரன் படத்தின் கிளைமாக்ஸ் காட்சிகளை படமாக்கும் பணிகள் விறுவிறுப்பாக நடக்கிறது. ரஜினி சமீபத்தில் 80 சதவீத படப்பிடிப்பு முடிந்து விட்டதாக அறிவித்தார். படப்பிடிப்பு தொடங்கி ஒரு வருடத்துக்குமேல் ஆகிறது. கோவா, புனே, ஆந்திரா பகுதிகளில் படப்பிடிப்பு நடந்தது. சென்னையில் உள்ள சாப்ட்வேர் கம்பெணிகளிலும் காட்சிகள் எடுக்கப்பட்டன. வேலூர் அருகே ஒரு கல்லூரி பரிசோதனை கூடத்தில் விஞ்ஞானி கெட்டப்பில் வரும் ரஜினி எந்திரன் ரஜினியை உருவாக்குவது போன்ற காட்சிகள் படமானது.

மகாபலிபுரம் அருகே உள்ள ஒரு என்ஜினீயரிங் கல்லூரியில் சர்வதேச விஞ்ஞானிகள் மாநாட்டில் தான் கண்டுபிடித்த ரோபோவை ரஜினி அறிமுகம் செய்வது போன்ற காட்சியை எடுத்தனர். ரஜினி, ஐஸ்வர்யாராய் பாடல் காட்சி அமெரிக்காவில் படமாக்கப்பட்டது.

இறுதியாக பிரகாஸ் ஸ்டுடியோவில் படப்பிடிப்பு நடந்து முடிய உள்ளது. இதற்காக அங்கு பல லட்சம் ரூபாய் செலவில் பிரமாண்ட அரங்குகள் அமைக்கப்படுகின்றன. அவற்றை தீயிட்டு எரிக்கப்படுகிறது. அந்த தீயை அணைப்பது போன்ற காட்சிகள் நவீன கேமராக்கள் மூலம் பிரமாண்டமாக படமாக்கப்படுகிறது. தீபாவளிக்கு முன்னதாக படப்பிடிப்பு முடிந்துவிடும் என எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது. ரீரிக்கார்டிங், கம்ப்யூட்டர் கிராபிக்ஸ், டப்பிங் உள்ளிட்ட இதரபணிகள் நடக்க உள்ளன. அடுத்த வருடம் ஏப்ரல் மாதம் எந்திரன் படம் ரிலீசாகும் என எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது.

Aishwarya Rai in Enthiran

Enthiran, starring Superstar Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai, is being filmed at a hectic pace. Director Shankar has been working hard and hopes to complete the film by end of this year. It is believed that Shankar had not slept for several days during shooting schedules, as he wanted to make sure that everything comes out perfectly.

But one thing that everyone is happy about is that Aishwarya Rai has picked up Tamil very quickly and is now fluent with the language. Apparently, Rajni was truly impressed and said that he had never seen anyone from North India speak in Tamil so well! Well, regional films are not a problem at all for Aishwarya Rai, as she has even done a Bengali film earlier. Way to go Aishwarya! Tamil indeed is a beautiful language that can be picked up easily!

Looks like the buzz about Enthiran releasing for this Diwali are nothing but rumors. A source close to the Enthiran stable revealed that although 85% of the movie is wrapped up except for a few scenes, the major chunk of the task, the post-production work is projected to extend for a year.

Made at a whopping budget, Enthiran movie graphics and visual effects are the highlights and will go on for about a year before the movie is ready to embellish the movie screens.

கடந்த வாரம் நடைபெற்ற ஷெட்யூலில் ஐஸ்வர்யா ராய் உள்ளிட்ட பிரதான நட்சத்திரங்கள் பங்கேற்றனர்.

நாம் ஏற்கனவே கூறியபடி பெரும்பாலான வசனக் காட்சிகள் முடிந்துவிட்டன. இதுவரை படப்பிடிப்பு 80-85% வரை முடிந்துவிட்டது.

இந்நிலையில் எந்திரனில் பாடும் பாடகர்கள் பற்றிய செய்தி கசிந்துள்ளது. ஹரிஹரன் படத்தின் ஒப்பனிங் சாங் பாடியிருப்பதாக ஒரு தளத்தில் படித்ததாகவும், எஸ்.பி.பி. பாடவில்லையா? என்றும் நண்பர் ஒருவர் கேட்டிருந்தார். நான் அவருக்கு பதிலளிக்கையில், “எனக்கு தெரிஞ்சு ஹரிஹரன் பாடுவது உண்மையா இருக்கலாம். ஆனா நிச்சயம் அது ஓப்பனிங் சாங்கா இருக்காது என்று கூறியிருந்தேன்.”

நாம் சொன்னபடியே ஹரிஹரன் படத்தில் பாடியிருப்பது உண்மை என்று இப்பொழுது தெரியவந்துள்ளது. மேலும் அவர் பாடியிருப்பது தலைவரின் இன்ட்ரோ சாங் அல்ல என்றும் அது டைட்டில் சாங் தான் என்றும் தெரிகிறது. சிவாஜி படத்தில் கூட டைட்டில் சாங் பாடியது ஹரிஹரன் தான். (வாஜி வாஜி). டைட்டில் சாங் என்பது இந்த இடத்தில் படத்தின் டைட்டில்கள் போடும்போது இடம்பெறும் பாடலை குறிப்பது அல்ல. படத்தின் பெயரான ‘எந்திரன்’ என்ற என்ற வார்த்தை இடம்பெறும் பாடல். உதாரணத்திற்கு சிவாஜியின் டைட்டில் சாங் “வாஜி வாஜி.” எந்திரனில் “எந்திரன்” என்ற வார்த்தை இடம்பெறும் பாடல்.

மேற்படி பாடலை தான் எந்திரனில் ரோபோவாக நடிக்கும் ரஜினி பாத்திரத்திற்காக ஹரிஹரன் பாடியிருப்பதாக தெரிகிறது. இந்த பாடலின் முதல் சில வரிகளை தான் கவியரசு வைரமுத்து ஒரு டி.வி.நிகழ்ச்சியில் சில மாதங்களுக்கு முன்பு கூறினார்.

இது தவிர நாம் அறிந்த வரையில் எஸ்.பி.பி., யோகி பி, மது ஸ்ரீ (வாஜி வாஜி புகழ்) ஆகியோரும் பாடல்களை பாடியுள்ளனர்.

‘முத்து’ படப்பிடிப்பு ஆரம்பிக்கும்போதே “ஆண்டவா இது தான் என்னுடைய கடைசிப் படமாக இருக்கவேண்டும்” என்று வேண்டிக்கொண்டே நடிக்க ஆரம்பித்ததாக ரஜினியே ஒரு விழாவில் கூறினார். இப்போது கூட அப்படித்தான். அந்த எண்ணம் மனதில் இருப்பதால், தான் நடிக்கும் ஒவ்வொரு படமும் வெற்றியடைய தன்னால் இயன்ற வரையில் அதிகபட்ச ஒத்துழைப்பு தருவார். இதனால் ஒரு வித டென்ஷன் அவரிடத்து காணப்படும். இதை டென்ஷன் என்று கூறுவதைவிட ஒரு வித படபடப்பு என்று கூறுவது சரியாக இருக்கும். (சிவாஜி ரிலீசுக்கு முந்தின தினம் நமக்கு எப்படி இருந்துச்சு? ஞாபகம் இருக்கா நண்பர்களே?)

ஆனால் எந்திரனைப் பொறுத்தவரை ரஜினி சற்று ரிலாக்ஸ் மூடில் இருப்பதாக கூறப்படுகிறது. யூனிட்டாரிடம் தலைவரின் இந்த ஜாலி மூட் பற்றி கேட்டபோது, “எந்த வித தொந்தரவும் இன்றி, நகரத்தின் பரபரப்புக்களிலிருந்து முற்றிலும் விடுபட்டு இரைச்சலற்ற புறநகர் பகுதியில், (சன் டைரக்ட் அலுவலக வளாகம், கிழக்கு கடற்கரை சாலை, கொட்டிவாக்கம்) படப்பிடிப்பு நடைபெறுவதால் தலைவர் ரிலாக்ஸ் மூடில் இருப்பது உண்மை. படப்பிடிப்புக்கேன்றே பிரத்யேக தளங்கள் ஏ.சி.வசதியுடன் கட்டப்பட்டு அங்கு படப்பிடிப்பு நடக்கிறது. தவிர இறைவன் அருளால் எந்திரன் வளரும் விதம் தலைவருக்கு ரொம்பவே திருப்தி. ‘எனது முந்தைய படங்கள் ரெக்கார்டுகள் அனைத்தையும் எந்திரன் முறியடிக்கும்’ என்று தனக்கு நெருங்கியவர்களிடம் கூறி வருகிறாராம் சூப்பர் ஸ்டார் என்றால் பார்த்துக்கொள்ளுங்களேன்.”

படப்பிடிப்பு நடைபெறும் நாட்களில் காலை 9.00 மணிக்கு செட்டுக்குள் நுழைந்தால் சூப்பர் ஸ்டார் வீடு திரும்ப இரவு 11.30 ஆகிவிடுகிறதாம். ஷங்கருக்கு திருப்தி வரும் வரையில் எத்துனை டேக்குகள் வேண்டுமானால் நடித்துகொடுக்கிறாராம். (எந்திரன் சம்பந்தப்பட்ட காட்சிகள் தான் அதிகபட்ச டேக்குகள் வாங்குகின்றன.).

காட்சிகள் கச்சிதமாக வரவேண்டும் என்பதால் அந்தந்த காட்சிகள் சம்பந்தப்பட்ட துறை வல்லுனர்கள் முன்னிலையிலேயே படப்பிடிப்பு நடைபெறுகிறதாம். எடுக்கப்படும் காட்சிகளில் ஏதாவது குறை இருந்தால் அவர்கள் உடனே சொல்லிவிடுவார்களாம். உடனே அது திரும்ப ஷூட் செய்யப்படுகிறது.
