Endhiran’s place in World Top 50

The Endhiran is not tiring yet. With records being broken on a regular basis right from the date of its announcement, the latest news may not be surprise at all. Endhiran finds itself among the Best 50 feature films released in 2010 in the Internet movie database (www.imdb.com). The list is based on the number of user votes for the movie. Seven Indian films feature in the Top 50 with others follow suit.

The rating, which is lead by Hollywood blockbuster Inception, has Bollywood movies Udaan (6), Love Sex aur Dhoka (15), Peepli Live (17) and Ishqiya (22) while Endhiran occupies the 39th place. Farhan Akhtar-starrer Karthik calling Karthik and Hrithik-starrer Guzaarish are at numbers 48 and 41 respectively. Interestingly, Endhiran is the only Tamil movie in the Top 50.

Will Enthiran’s English 3D Version be any Different?

Amidst the entire hullabaloo surrounding the enormous success of the sci-fi thriller Enthiran: the Robot, there are several tabloids reporting that now, after having seen the success quotient of the Tamil, Telugu and the Hindi versions, the producer of the flick, Kalanidhi Maran, is planning to get the film dubbed in English, and it will be in a 3D version!

Well, the fact is that a film of this dimension had never ever been made in the Indian sub continent and that the film has surpassed all expectations, whether in terms of its business strategy, or in terms of the acting prowess of the actors, be it in the protagonists level or the other roles, has registered with an immense stamp of glory for the entire Indian film industry.

Thus, now to the lame man, all levels of possible success have been achieved, but no! Not for the film makers of Enthiran. There are also reports about Rajinikanth having gone to the Himalayas for some meditation and peace of mind. Well, the fact is that almost all mile stones have been achieved by the block buster in terms of the commercial success, there still were some reports about it recently that it is going to made in 3D.

However, reports were also being circulated that a seven minute 3D scene is ready to be included in the Tamil and Hindi versions in order to really see the difference that is the original and the 3D version. This seven minute addition to the original film just has to be seen, at least for the die-hard Rajinikanth fan!

Well, the question still remains unanswered; will the 3D version be any different from the already innovated high technically packed drama of Enthiran? What do you think?

As we have been told that an English version in 3D is to be released for the International audiences. It is a debatable matter whether this 3D version will make much of a difference to the already high action and super technological innovations that have made the film such a mind boggling feat to watch!

Getting the all-time biggie, Enthiran, ready for worldwide release on October 1 with a record 2,200 prints, Sun Pictures’ chief operating officer Hansraj Saxena is beaming with confidence that the magic combo of his production house with Superstar Rajinikanth, beauty queen Aishwarya Rai, ace director Shankar and music maestro A.R. Rahman is bound to click.
“Making the possible the impossible has been the motto of Sun Pictures. We have made Enthiran possible,” Mr Saxena told Deccan Chronicle, sharing some thoughts that had gone into the making the trilingual (Robot in Telugu and Hindi) that consumed `160 crores and two years.

“It was the vision of our MD Kalanidhi Maran that we make a movie of world standards using our vast potential. We have realised that dream,” he said, adding, “Enthiran became possible thanks to the rich and tremendous production values.”
Asked what gave Sun Pictures the confidence to make a South Indian film, which has limited market, with a massive budget, he said, “Frankly, we did not plan anything at the first level of discussion. Rajini sir, Kalanidhi and Shankar met and took a call that we will jointly make a quality film. At that stage, nothing was discussed as to how to market it or how to make it big. The movie just got bigger at each stage — the songs, locations, computer graphics — and everything turned out amazingly well. We were simply pumping in money as demanded by the script. And ended up getting a product that’s of an unimaginably grand scale.”

On Mr Maran’s comment during the audio release that Rajini was yet to take his remuneration, the Sun COO said when the project was launched, the superstar said he would talk about salary only when the film got released. “He is modesty personified. Now it’s time for us to give back.”
On Sun’s plans, Mr Saxena said they would make big budget movies as well as quality films of smaller budgets next year. And as for talks that Sun was planning a Rajini-Jackie Chan flick — “It sounds nice; but whether we are doing a Jackie Chan film or not, I can vouch that we are well equipped with technical and financial expertise to come out with a Hollywood film.”

Super Star Fever hits Enthiran Rajini Fans. Last week theatre have printed Trailer Tickets for the first time in the world cinema. Everyone had celebrated the trailer release in Satyam, Kasi & Rakhi Theatre in chennai. This kind of trailer release celebration is happening for the first time ever. Recently the Censor Committee had given a ‘U’ cretificate to Enthiran Movie.

Report said, the committee watched the movie and said, Enthiran the Robo – Wonderful Movie. Some scenes componsatating hollywood styles and it could be watched by kids to adults. So censor committee had give ‘U’ certificate for the movie. Atlast everyone is awaiting for the Enthiran Movie.

Now Everyone’s Expectation is Enthiran The Robot. 3000 Theaters all over the world releasing Super Star Rajinikanth Upcoming Enthiran Movie, 30 + Theaters only in Chennai.

Today we have a information from Sun Pictures, They have released the Names of Theaters releasing Enthiran Movie in Chennai, which includes Satyam (3), Devi (2), Express Cinemas (3), Inox (2), Abirami (4), Sangam (2), Albert (2), Udhayam (3), Kamala (2), PVR (5), IDreams, Maharani and few others. These theaters were under Chennai Limit.

All over the cinema industry was keenly watching, Super Star Rajini’s Enthiran Trading.

As per the current information, Enthiran film will trade more than 300 Crores. As reported on an famous Bollywood website, Enthiran ( The Robo ) in hindi will break several records, so far 1000 have confirmed the release of enthiran. Robo release in Hindi has been acquired by Venus.

Sun Pictures have not declared any name of releaser in chennai, but Rs.13 crores haven been collected for Madurai Rights ( A Report ). Seems brother of Madurai Anbu , Mr.Alagar have got the rights for Madurai. Think what will be the rate offered for chennai market if madurai market has been sold for thirteen crores.

மலேசிய தலைநகர் கோலாலம்பூரில் நடந்த எந்திரன் இசை வெளியீட்டு விழாவில் பங்கேற்ற கலாநிதி மாறன் பேசியதாவது:

“ஒரு தமிழ் படத்தின் பாடல் வெளியீட்டு விழாவை மலேசியாவில் நடத்துவது இதுதான் முதல் முறை. அதுவே எனக்கு பெருமையாக இருக்கிறது. வைரமுத்து இனிமையான பாடல்களை எழுதியிருக்கிறார். விஞ்ஞானம் தொடர்பான பாடலையும் எல்லாரும் எளிதில் புரிந்து கொள்ளும் வகையில் அழகாக எழுதியிருக்கிறார். அவர் மகன் கார்க்கியும் பாடல் எழுதியிருக்கிறார்.

சூப்பர் ஸ்டார் என்றால் அது ரஜினிதான். அந்த இடத்துக்கு யாரும் வரப்போவதில்லை. பிறக்கப் போவதும் இல்லை. ‘எந்திரன்’ டீம் கடுமையாக உழைத்திருக்கிறது. அவர்கள் அனைவருக்கும் நன்றியையும் பாராட்டுதலையும் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன். இந்த விழாவுக்கு தமிழனத் தலைவரும் தமிழக முதல்வருமான கலைஞர் வாழ்த்து தெரிவித்திருக்கிறார். அவருக்கு என் மனமார்ந்த நன்றி…”, என்றார் கலாநிதி மாறன்.

எந்திரன் படப்பிடிப்பு முற்றாக முடிந்ததைத் தொடர்ந்து, படத்தின் நடிகர் நடிகைகள் மற்றும் இதர குழுவினர் விடைபெற்றனர்.

படத்தின் நாயகியான ஐஸ்வர்யா ராய், ரஜினியின் காலில் விழுந்து ஆசி பெற்று மும்பை திரும்பினார்.

சூப்பர் ஸ்டார் ரஜினி நடிப்பில், ஷங்கர் இயக்கத்தில், சன் பிக்சர்ஸ் தயாரிப்பில் இரண்டு ஆண்டுகளாக நடந்த எந்திரன் படப்பிடிப்பு முடிந்துள்ளது. மூன்று தினங்களுக்கு முன் இதன் இறுதிகட்ட படப்பிடிப்பு பெருங்குடியில் நடந்தது. ரஜினி, ஐஸ்வர்யாராய் சம்பந்தப்பட்ட பாடல் காட்சி அங்கு படமானது.

படப்பிடிப்பு முடிந்ததும் எல்லோரது முகத்திலும் பிரிந்து செல்லும் வாட்டம் தெரிந்தது. படக்குழுவினர், ஒருவருக்கொருவர் கட்டிப்பிடித்தும், கைகுலுக்கியும் பிரியா விடை பெற்றனர்.

அப்போது ஐஸ்வர்யாராய் யாரும் எதிர்பாராத வகையில் ரஜினி காலில் விழுந்து வணங்கினார். தன்னை வாழ்த்தி ஆசி வழங்குமாறு கேட்டுக்கொண்டார்.

ஐஸ்வர்யாராய் செயல் ரஜினிக்கு அதிர்ச்சியை ஏற்படுத்தியது. ‘இதெல்லாம் எதுக்கும்மா?’ என்றவர், பின்னர் சுதாரித்துக் கொண்டு ஐஸ்வர்யா ராயை ஆசீர்வதித்தார். ‘நீயும் எனக்கு மருமகள் போலத்தான்’ என்று சொல்லி வாழ்த்தினார்.

ஐஸ்வர்யா ராய் பணிவைப் பார்த்து படப்பிடிப்பு குழுவினர் வியந்தனர். படக்குழுவினர் பலரும் ரஜினியின் காலில் விழுந்து ஆசி பெற ஆரம்பிக்க, அவர்களைத் தடுத்த ரஜினி, “யாரும் யார் காலிலும் விழுவது தேவையில்லாதது. என் ஆசீர்வாதம் அனைவருக்கும் உண்டு” என்றார்.

எந்திரன் அடுத்த மாதம் (ஆகஸ்டு) இறுதியில் ரிலீசாகும் என்று நிருபர்களிடம் நேற்று தெரிவித்தது நினைவிருக்கலாம்.

சூப்பர் ஸ்டார் ரஜினி காந்த்தின் எந்திரன் படம் தீபாவளிக்கு விருந்து படைக்க தயாராகி விட்டது. உலகம் முழுவதும் 3000 தியேட்டர்களில் படத்தை திரையிடத் திட்டமிட்டுள்ளதாம் சன் பிக்சர்ஸ் நிறுவனம்.

Director Shankar is planning a 3D version of the magnum opus ‘Endhiran’ to pre-empt any piracy attempt.

After the unpleasant episode in ‘Jaggubhai’, where the full length film was leaked on the internet even before it came out of the processing lab, Shankar is trying each and every way to plug the holes. Today all major films are happening under strict vigilance by competent persons. Mani Ratnam has appointed managers at each point where the works for ‘Raavan’ is happening.

The demo version of ‘Endhiran’ in 3D was shown to Shankar by an effects company and he is awfully impressed with the result. So the chances to see ‘Endhiran’ wearing the 3D spectacles are great

If all goes well, director Shankar will wrap up the shooting of his Rajinikanth-Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer Endhiran by July.

Shankar recently shot a song for his film in a yet-to-open star hotel in Chennai. A source close to the film’s unit said, “Last week, Aishwarya flew down from Mumbai to shoot for a birthday party song. Shankar was looking for a lavish banquet hall where he could can the sequence.

But, he wasn’t pleased with any of the halls. He finally chose a star hotel that is yet to be commissioned and asked his art director Sabu Cyril to decorate the interiors lavishly. The song has come out extremely well.”

We hear that Shankar will wrap up the shoot of this much-awaited film after canning just one more song, which, in all probability, will be shot in a studio set in Chennai in July as soon as he gets dates from Ash.

Rajni’s Endhiran Nearing Completion

Shankar’s mega budget Endhiran has been making headlines for past 3 years and is now close on the heels of completion. With the film’s production cost crossing the above-the-line of 100Crs, Shankar is busy now working on a stunt sequence in Chennai now.

A particular sequence, where Rajinikanth bashes down the baddies and moves of out a place along with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is being shot in Raghavendra Kalyana Mandapam. Director Shankar during the audio launch of his production Rettai Suzhi reported that few sequences are still pending and will be completed by next month.

Peter Hein and his crew have been choreographing the stunt sequences and Aishwarya Rai has camped in Chennai for past couple of weeks. On pars, she’ll be shooting for Manirathnam’s Raavana as well. Meanwhile, A.R. Rahman is working continuously on background score for the scenes that have been already shot and processed through post production works.

The Rajnikanth-Aishwarya Rai starrer, one of the costliest films ever made in India, will be released during August this year, it is believed. The film has been made at a coast of Rs 125 crore.

The sci-fi film stars Rajni in a double role, it is believed. No effort has been spared to make the movie conform to international standards. Some of the best Hollywood technicians have been working behind the scenes. Oscar winner AR Rahman sets the tunes; another Oscar winner, Resul Pookutty has joined ‘Endhiran’ recently.

Almost 90 percent of the film is complete, wrote Shankar in his blog recently. The film, being made in Tamil, would be dubbed into Hindi, Telugu and English later. Sun Pictures produces the film.
