Enthiran is a forthcoming science-fiction Tamil–language film being directed by S. Shankar, who with Enthiran, directs his tenth feature film. Despite several rumours regarding the lead actors, Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai have been formally announced to portray the lead roles. The film is expected to cost 120 crores, one of the highest ever film budgets of the Chennai film industry.

Insiders reveal that Shankar had requested A.R. Rahman to come up with one of his best musical compositions for Endhiran; the song being shot in Ramoji is A.R. Rahman’s answer to his request. Our Kolly wood circle has revealed the villain of this dream project ENDHIRAN – the robot as Danny denzongpa . Who made several movies of Hindi cinema industry into a massive hit, his performance was extraordinary in Qurbani. And now he is the villain of the super star starring Endiran.

Endhiran, the Tamil sci-fi film initially titled Robot, stars Rajnikanth in a double role and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The film is being directed by Sivaji director S. Shankar.
A source working on the film revealed the plot. “Rajnikanth plays a scientist and the robot named Endhiran.” said the source.
