Enthiran Shooting finally ended

Director Shankar wrote on his blog : Happy to say that the whole Enthiran shoot is wrapped on 7th July with the shooting of the song sung by AR Rahman, choreographed by Remo at Sun Studios. It was a very very happy moment for everyone. I think this is the first film where I am doing the pumpkin breaking pooja (poosanika udaikiradhu) with the lead stars Rajnikanth & Aishwarya Rai. Sujatha’s novel En Iniya Iyanthira had a climax in which the Robot will be dismantled. Wondering what the climax of Enthiran, which is based on this book, would be? Well, some of our sources say that director Shankar has planned two climaxes.

One of the climaxes will have Aishwarya Rai, the film’s heroine, killed by the Robot. Another climax will have Rajini dismantle the Robot keeping in tune with the book that Sujatha had penned. However, none of the sources have confirmed about this double climax and it’s also possible that the director may have other plans.

The team was spotted near Rajalakshmi College in Maduravayal in Chennai shooting an important fight sequence. The fight has been choreographed by the famous stunt director Peter Hein. Art director Sabu Cyril has taken care of the sets for the film.

Two imported Benz cars were brought to the spot for this particular scene. While one was a real car driven by Rajinikanth in the film, the other was a dummy which was brought in to be blown up in a shoot out. This scene had been shooted to perfection by the film’s director Shankar on November 11th, 2009.

It is well known fact that Director Shankar will give much importance to comedy all in his films.

Enthiran comedy scene shot at Anushka beauty parlour at Indira Nagar in Adyar.

This scene involves Rajini and Robo Rajini.

In that scene, Rajini says the below dialogue to the hair stylist “Velaya paarumma, idhu oru robot than”

According to the media and various other sources , thalaivar and aishwariya has indulged for a scene in VIT. Enthiran crew sought prior permission from VIT for permitting them for the shoot in their Laboratory.

As we all know that our superstar is scientist in the movie.According to the scene Superstar along with Aishwariya is doing a research in the lab. Finally in the scene rajini shouts “Success !! Success !!” at-last. My guess is that both thalaivar and aish would have done this experiment in-order to prevent or stop the rampage or mischief which is done or will do in future by Robot.Hmm !!.. Let us hope for the best..

If i say simplicity then the name flashes first in everyone’s mind is “Rajinikanth”.Similarly if i say punctuality the name again comes in every director’s mind(Shankar for instance) is “Rajinikanth”.Here is the proof for the both:

It was the day when the Enthiran movie shooting is at the beginning stage, Enthiran crew is in Ennore . The scenes between rajini and aishwariya were shooted from 9 PM to 3AM. Superstar normally reach the spot via Redhills and Ponneri. On that particular day, he took the 100 feet road route to reach the spot. Unfortunately he struck up in the traffic . It was a heavy one indeed. Superstar immediately rang up shankar and conveyed the issue.

Shankar immediately responded to postpone the shooting schedule. But thalaivar was not ready for that. As we know our superstar is director’s actor and he will never allow this to happen due to his problem. Shankar got an idea and sent 4 stunt masters in motor bike to rajini’s spot. The stunt master’s arrived immediately to rajini’s spot and requested to wear a rain coat and a cap to cover up.Rajini obliged and reached to the spot and made everyone in the spot astound.

Enthiran (The Robot) director Shankar’s dream project with Superstar Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai has generated a lot of interest among the fans. Rajini and Shankar who boast of having a superhit formula have grouped in a exceptional team for this Endhiran Movie. Music director A R Rahman and ace cameraman Rathnavelu also form the part of Shankar’s creative team.

The animatronics of the film will be handled by the Stan Winston Studio (USA), which was responsible for the impressive animation sequences in movies such as Predator, Jurassic Park, Pearl Harbor, Iron man and the Terminator, while Mary E Vogt, the well known designer who has worked in Hollywood movies like Men in Black, Batman Returns and Inspector Gadget will be designing the scientific outfits for Enthiran. Stunt director Yuen Woo Ping, who made audiences gasp with his stunts in Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Matrix and Kill Bill, will handle the action for the movie.

Sun Pictures, turned film production company with Enthiran, is taking every possible step to make the film truly spectacular. Recently, a magnificent set was built in Ramoji Rao Film City, where Shankar is filming a song with Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai. Following this, the crew will also film a small talkie portion in the same set and also in other parts of Ramoji Rao Film City.

Insiders reveal that Shankar had requested A.R. Rahman to come up with one of his best musical compositions for Endhiran; the song being shot in Ramoji is A.R. Rahman’s answer to his request. Those who have listened to the tunes of this song agree that it is completely different from what A.R. Rahman had given so far. Terming the tune as out-of-the-world, they add that the song will be Endhiran’s highlight for both its acoustic and visual appeal.
